One significant theme in both the movie and the book is that love is power powerful or as most people say love conquers all. The true love that Jamie and Landon had for each other helped them get through everything such as the hardships with Leukemia and the fear they had of what they 're friends might think of them. Another theme is get to know a person instead of just judging them. Later however he falls in love with her and realizes that she 's not what he thought she would be like she 's actually a nice, kindhearted, and heartwarming girl. COming of age is also a theme especially as we see Jamie and Landon grow. Lastly another major theme in this novel and in this movie is you shouldn 't let other around you choose who you hangout with,or what you should be like, you should do what makes you happy. Landon always listened to his father to be class president join and do school activities he also listened to his friends who influenced him to only hang out with them and other people who THEY liked. Do you believe it is easier to imagine or create something? Though the answer to this question could go both ways, this will most commonly be answered that it is easier to imagine something. Movies have to be limited to the real world’s physics and abilities, while books can create an imaginary would, not bound by physics. With this said, A Wrinkle in Time follows the characters Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wallace as they travel to different planets with Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which in attempt to take back Meg’s father back from a brain depicted as IT. E. Hinton and produced by Francis Coppola. Although there are many similarities that both the book, The Outsiders, and the movie share, there were many noticeable differences in the appearance and personalities of all the characters. In “The Landlady”, Billy Weaver is lured into a seemingly normal bed and breakfast by an old lady who, despite her gentle and unthreatening appearance, wants to kill him. It is a story about how those with cruel intent may take advantage of those who are innocent and naive. Although the book and the movie can be arguably similar if generalized, there are many differences that may change the way a reader/viewer may grasp the concept of the story. Since a movie and book cannot be exactly the same, the film version is bound to have things that differ from the text. One example of how the book develops the development of the story is with the setting.…

It seems an unfair view to expect a movie about a book to be exactly the same down to every single detail. Communities of fans will always find something wrong with a story, for it has “failed” to match expectation. Books are a place where someone can be dragged into the story and forget about everything else for a short while. Movies do the exact same thing, except it is seen as an easier way than books for a lot of people. Ignoring obvious differences (such as the fact that one is in picture form, and the other is in words), movies and books may not be so different after all.…
