Comparative Analysis: of perception and the reality for “A Jury of Her Peers” and “The Sniper”

Minnie Wrights and the Republican Snipers perception of killing in the two short stories “A Jury of Her Peers” and “The Sniper” is the same because in any matter of feelings you can harm someones life and both short stories give this perception in different ways. They can also be different because each short story shows two different perceptions by revenge and on purpose. The main character in the short story “A Jury of Her Peers” is Minnie Wrights a lonely women, and this story is facing perception because she has an inspiration for wanting to kill her husband due to the loneliness she feels since she has gotten married with him. Wrights feels that she has became a different person and she does not like the person she has become. The main character in “The Sniper” is a Republican sniper and this story is facing reality because the sniper gets shot by an enemy while being on the roof , therefore the sniper gets revenged by killing the enemy. The enemy was his brother but he was not intentionally wanting to kill him, he just wanted to get revenge back. The Republican Snipers reality is a death because he was not wanting to kill the enemy on purpose. In the two short stories with Minnie Wrights and the Republican Sniper both relate their perceptions and realities because they both have the purpose of killing someone, and they both show guilty feelings of killing the person.…
