Although, we hear, or may have been associated with many of the different types of social workers There are so many different areas of social worker occupations. Community social workers help to heal the community in crisis of tragedies and natural disasters. Hospice and palliative care social workers normally involved working with those who are seriously or terminally ill. They help to improve the quality of life during this difficult time. Child, family and school social worker deals with children who have experienced a life changing circumstance involving abuse or some form of trauma (death, divorce, fire, parent incarceration, etc.).
