In pg(149) the author said, “ The devout might say that we serve because we love god.” This shows one of the reasons why people serve and that is because they are religious, so they do service so they feel like god loves them more in his eyes. Another quote on pg(151) the author also said, “Service, to repeat, might be good for the server, good for the served, good for all of us, good for god, or objectively good.” This is saying that service is good for everyone and why people keep doing it because it makes them feel good. This is part of the toulminian model because he is still using facts, and for this example he uses religion to show why people do service. Also because it goes well with the main idea because it explained why people do service and in this example the people do service because in the eyes of god it is a good
