In the last couple of months, I wondered what things that I would need to do in case an emergency. When I began reading in the textbook Healthy Young Children, Chapter 4 about getting ready for emergencies, it was then that I started asking questions to my supervisor. (Aronson, Spahr 2012) I had no idea of where we go in case of fire, which exits to use from my classroom and what area outside to take my children. Luckily, with my supervisors help I now know where to go and what to do in an indoor or outdoor emergency arises.
