I began volunteering at the Kennedy Center at the Drop-in when I was sixteen years old and remained there until I graduated high school. Now, I go back to visit when I am home from school to reunite with my friends. In high school, in addition to the Drop-in Center, I also sporadically volunteered at duck-pin bowling and other Kennedy Center dances. My education classes have provided me with vast amounts of teaching experiences. I am planning to work with high school students, so I have been trained to work with people reaching adulthood. I have taken many classes involving special education practices, the psychology of learning and development and much more.
