Community Assessment
The purpose of a community assessment is to assess the needs of the community, in order devise a plane to provide the appropriate services, based on the communities need. A community assessment should give a very informative picture of the community. This picture should be based on the data gathered regarding the communities economic, physical, and cultural, conditions. Community assessment have proven to be valuable tools in promoting heath, preventing disease and in maintaining a healthy community.
Marion City is located in Marion County in the northern central portion of Ohio. Marion County was created in February, 1820. The county is named after an American Revolution hero, Francis Marion.
