The presentation “An Integrrative Approach to the eveolution of Visual Communiction in Darters” had a main focus point around the influence of color in mating preference and other aspects of darters life. This was specific to darters becseu they are so colorfull yet there is stil no true distiction as to what their coloration means, and if there is a specific reason to their color and patterns. Some patterns that they found was that only males had were colorful dring breeding season. To test what the reason for this color patern could be they tested the amount of a certain color that each darter displaye and where this color was displayed.
