We can’t not communicate even we attempt not to; we are still communicating a message. Therefore, the steps taken not to communicate become a form of communication. Communication is not just words, its body language, the tone in your voice, your attitude, shrugs, and most of all your face expressions. A common quote, I have heard throughout my life clearly defines interpersonal communication “if it is your intent to do something remember people judge you by your actions not what you intended to do.” We all say things that we wish we would have never said. The term communication is a spoken and unspoken language. A method of delivering a verbal or nonverbal message between people and animals. My overall communication skills are excellent and wonderful of course that rating relies on who I am communicating with. In my personal assessment my interpersonal communication skills lack in-depth feedback, quick responses, and the struggle of fully listening at times. Nonverbal communication has been a strong suit for communicating for me and as research shows for others as well. When the sender says a message. There are several group characteristics that are beneficial to me such as team member spirit, straightforward with my opinion, positive, fair, and reliable. Again, the characteristics of listening is very important to me especially when characteristics that work for me in a group. When in a group setting it is important to me to give my opinion about the topic. If you take the time of your schedule to participate in a group, you should be willing to share your thoughts. For example, when attending a home owner’s association meeting I keep a positive outlook and fair concept when listening to others speak about their concerns.
