Good communication is the foundation of positive relationships, both personally and professionally. But we communicate with much more than words. In fact, social scientists argue that only ninety-three percent of the emotional impact of messages shows that the majority of our communication is nonverbal. Nonverbal communication, or body language, includes our facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, posture, and even the tone of our voice. The ability to understand and use nonverbal communication is a powerful tool that will help you connect with others, express what you really mean, direct challenging situations, and build better relationships at home or work. In this paper I would be talking to you about observe behavior, interpret it, and finding the meaning. What I hope to gain from this paper is having more eye contact with others and using more gestures.
Observed Behavior Nonverbal communication also takes an important role in classroom organization by that means, I will give an example of observed behavior about teachers. Actual teachers use body language to communicate with students, make them feel safe, and supported especially students with special needs. The effective teacher blends both verbal and nonverbal communication skills in establishing good relationship with students and this has a direct correlation to student achievement.
