The data will be used to find out what respondents think on whether openness in communication helps in reducing the frequency and severity of conflicts among couples. Primarily, the experiment is used to propose that openness in communication helps reduce the severity and frequency of conflicts among couples by enhancing self-understanding and the understanding of one’s spouse, which eventually improves intimacy in relationships. Openness in communication also reduces the level of suspicion among couples by enhancing the virtues of trust and honesty between them and that consequently reducing the prevalence and severity conflicts in romantic relationships. However, if this hypothesis is not supported by the experiment, it can be justifiably concluded that the embracement of openness in communication among couples makes people unnecessarily feeble to their spouses, and that leads to increased levels of despise, distrust, and suspicion, which eventually increases the rate of conflict among couples. Therefore, to better assess the impact openness in communication on the level of conflicts among couples, it is recommendable that future researches focus on finding out whether disclosing everything to one’s spouse (including the most confidential issues and experiences) makes him/her more feeble to his/her
