The Head Start program requires teachers to communicate with families four times throughout the school year. The home visits are done twice a year, the first home visit is completed before the children first day of school this is where the teachers and the families are getting to know one another before the first day of school inside the children and families homes. The teachers are also providing a meet and greet for the child so when the child enter the classroom the students will know some familiar faces instead of everyone being a stranger. The second Home visit this is where the teachers and families meets and close the child file and school year. The first /second parent and teacher conference discusses the child’s progression
