Communication As A Care Worker

As a care worker is essential to use different forms of communication throughout their working days and night. There are two different ways to communicate; the verbal communication which uses words to express ideas, thoughts and feelings. Good verbal communication skills involves the ability to express your ideas clearly and also listen to others carefully. It’s important to understand that not everyone receive information the same way and they have their own unique ways, so as a good care worker you need to approach each service user in different styles to help them absorb and understand the information given to them.
In addition of communicating through spoken words, some individual communicate through different types of non-verbal communication.
