Introduction:
A good and healthy communication is very important in negotiation. The problem occur when we lack good communication and negotiation is failed to reach the desired goals. Same like in the given case study where there is a problem between two parties who are trying to negotiate on budget. A healthy communication is directly proportional to an effective negotiation. The effective the communication is the effective the negotiation would be. Discussion is not all about only fighting, but it is simply the exchange of ideas and thoughts with each other. It is compulsory to have effective communication skills for a healthy and an effective discussion. Communication is an art and one should get mastery in all types of negotiation. The other party will never come to know about your opinions and ideas until you share it with them. One can’t see your grey matter. Lot depends on how you speak. Two things which are very important in effective and successful negotiation are questioning and active listening. For successful negotiation strategy, you have to know other party needs and goals.
