For some, heroism is what he did, physically killing your enemy; while for others, it's quite the opposite, the act of mercy. Although most people perceive the word hero as something that is very objective and agreed upon, the word hero is actually quite subjective as each person has their own beliefs which are based on their different upbringings and experiences.
