All of the students start taking seats in different sized groups and soon everyone is chatting away with friends, except for the boy who sits alone.

But fret not, for this is not our typical loner protagonist. Just when you’d think no one else is coming, four more people enters. The first one is a short boy with cropped hair and a mischievous grin. The ones who follow is a red haired boy of normal height around 1,80m and ordinary looks walking hand in hand with a girl with long, brown hair and good looks. The last one to enter is a woman a few years older than the rest. She has all the right proportions and a slender body along with long blonde hair. The woman who so happens to be a teacher heads to the front of the classroom while the short boy and the couple heads towards our protagonist.

“Hey hey hey there loner, thought we wouldn’t come?” the short boy says with a grin while grabbing our protagonist around the neck with his arm.

“I was hoping you wouldn’t come, dipshit” our protagonist answers with a friendly

In Bruce Davidsons’ “boy in the schoolhouse” the photograph of the young African American boy writing on the chalkboard, he calls attention to two opposing viewpoints on life as an African American during the mid-1900’s: 1.) viewing the boy as normal, being in class expected hours, and treated equally or 2.) viewing the boy differently, spending extra time after class, and treated unequally. The young boy is portrayed standing with good posture fixated on the chalkboard in the dark, unlit schoolhouse.
