Introduction The North Carolina Code of Ethics is used as a guide to exemplify the standards for all teachers. A teacher must be committed to students, the education system, and their profession. A list of set standards and obligations are set in order for teachers to help students achieve optimal success. In addition, teachers will be able to provide a safe environment for students to thrive. When a teacher is committed to a school system, they also participate in making important decisions. By being committed to their profession, teachers flourish throughout the years and grow as an individual.
