Whale hunting also known “whaling’’ has been going on for years dating back to 3,000 B.C. they are mainly hunted for their meat, oil and blubber which are used for many things such as oil base heat lumps while meat and blubber are used for food and vitamins purposes. Recently commercial whaling in Iceland has gone overboard with hunting on fin whales and mink whales killing 129 just this season. Both mink and fin whales are on the endangered spices list and are seeing no way out if commercial whaling dose not slow down or stop completely. These amazing animals are fighting to survive.
