According to the author Clark in the article “What is he American dream” explains that the American dream is able to live a better life and provide opportunities to everyone. For example, in paragraph one says “dream of land in which life should be better, richer and fuller for everyone” (1). This quote explains that whoever comes to live the American dream is able to have several opportunities. The author Clark does support her thesis in paragraph one of the article “What is the American dream” for example in paragraph two “all men are created equal, they are endowed by their creator” (1).
