Comm 351 Portfolio

The ePortfolio created for COMM 351 was a beneficial project not only for myself and my own professional presence but also a good guide on what aspects and areas potential professional contact want to see from me. As I prepare myself for the next career move after graduation I know I need to improve the layout and structure of my resume so that it promotes and markets my strengths and skills. The more appealing and informative my resume is the more attraction I will receive when sending it out to professional contacts and employers. My advice is starting early and utilizing the two week period to space out each project. I think this one of the only classes that allots a decent amount of time between projects, so use the time wisely. The best way I could explain the intersection of interpersonal and organizational communication has provided the teaching and guideline for effective communications skill as it directly relates to the everyday life of working other in groups as they change from work, family, friendship, and acquaintance level (too name a few). Ethical communication helps to design an inclusive work environment because everyone with in the team has been taught and practices effective and efficient interpersonal skill among each other. If all employees are working and communicating with ethical practices it helps the work environment function and operation efficiently and seamlessly for the greater good of the company. All companies have their own individual ethical statements that must be followed during employment and that can ultimately lead to the inclusive work environment within the whole
