It is so interesting to me that waiting there for the coming of the Holy Spirit with the disciples were some unnamed women, who probably were followers of Jesus. His mother Mary and his brothers. Also at Pentecost after the miracle experience, connected with the Pentecost, after the connection with Pentecost , after felling the Holy Spirit followed by the speaking of other tongues, up to now, the Spirit of God had been with the disciples, but how He took up His residence in them (John 14:17). I had never heard or read anything before about withstanding, but it has help me understand better what happen to me. In the next couple of pages I will write about my personal experience with the coming of the Holy Ghost in my life, my personal Day of Pentecost. I will give the research I have done on this subject also but I was stressing so much about this paper until I was letting it total become overwhelming for me. I could not get a grip in how to do my paper or understand what to write about, but in prayer this morning asking God to help me do my paper; the Holy Ghost spoke to me and said; write about in your paper your Day of Pentecost and everything on your outline. I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the age of 27 and I am now 67, and have had all these years to enjoy and really benefit from having the Holy Ghost lead and guise me thru my personal journey walking with the Lord. Having the Holy Spirit is simply receiving the gift God sent back to us from his Son Jesus on the Day of Pentecost. Its fascinating to me that you and I and everyone living today can receive the same gift that was giving at the Pentecost to those setting in Jerusalem waiting in the upper room with one mine and with one accord according to the Bible, just to think that’s what I received and everyone else who share my
