As you walk through life, you are given many opportunities, many people, to learn lessons and teachings from that may help you to succeed at your fullest potential. And maybe even “someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you.” The coming of age is a, somewhat, difficult time in one’s life. As seen in Into the Wild, it shows, Chris, as he goes through the coming of age, he acquires knowledge from those who he passes along the way. Pressing on, one of the morals that Chris realizes is that happiness is not within oneself, but is truly felt when shared. “Happiness is only real, when shared.” (McCandless).
