Coming Home To America

Improved Essays
I am not sitting on the cold dirt ground, freezing. I am not begging for clothing. I am not homeless, I am not hungry. I have an education at a great school. I have a warm place to come home to everyday, and a family who welcomes me. I sit down at dinner and eat a big meal. Some children don’t have the things that I have. They don’t have an education, or a warm house. Some don’t even have families to go home to. I live in America where safety and homes are plentiful. I’ve been gifted the blessing to grow up in this country, with a great life.
America has handed me many great things. I wake up every morning and go to school.I have the right to go to school, and I am a woman. Children in many countries can not go to school because of their gender
