If you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable with your life then you have to try something new. I started from the beginning such as I was very horrifying when I went into a store or market alone. I feel like I was trying to steal something because of my face was uncomfortable. Over time and after doing it several times it become better it becomes less of an issue. Now I can go to a shop and order something by myself. I can through all the problems that annoy me and walk into a new person by doing again again and again. I cannot go outside alone then I will go outside everyday alone without fear and shyness, I cannot talk with new people then I will start from smiling to them until I have enough brave to say hi, I cannot talk in front of many people cause my shyness then I will be a volunteer who will go to talk in front of everyone without afraid. I will start from a small thing of my weaknesses to prove and clear all my fears. No matter how long it will talk me to be brave but I won’t stop until I can change myself and become a new person who have perfect life in they world. For the project that out of my comfort zone, I have many way to prove and wanna show you that I can go through but this way is the basic way that I can do in limit time in 2 days after finish all exam. So this is just an example to show me that how much of brave I am

In the article, “Why You Should Go to the Movies (and Do Other Stuff) Alone,” by Jesse Singal, is about the fears a lot of people have of being spotted in public alone. Everyone who is alone out there has a guideline of what not to do but new research may prove them wrong. In my opinion, I feel being alone only matters on how you feel about yourself and how the world sees you. Scientist have done five experiments over the years to prove that going out alone isn't as bad as many people say, but I still feel that no matter how you go, people will still judge you. To me the only way to actually have fun is with a group of your closest friends because people will see the sheer number of friends and not bother you.…

Rogers agrees with this when he speaks of the privilege of being alone, “my most fruitful periods of work are the times when I have been able to get completely away from what others think...and gain perspective on what I am doing” (Rogers 15). When asked to define myself in one paper, I find it hard to show the details that I want to in the right light. When asked about my future after high school, I also have a hard time describing everything I want to get done because there are far too many things to name. The quote “ _____” (i want to be everyone and do everything and there isn’t enough life to do it all in) describes me to a tee, and I believe this college is the place I could do this in. Being a shy person for most of my life, many things were difficult for me. Specifically, last summer I had the opportunity for a summer job.…

When I was younger, I struggled to support any friendships for an extended period of time. Before I moved to GCMS School district, I had previously attended three separate schools for the same few reasons. My parents could not afford to live where we did, one or both lost their job, or the environment was not suitable for our family. Moving so often made it difficult to keep in contact with old friends, and even more difficult to make new ones. As I was shy and introverted, it was an intimidating and terrifying situation.…

The biggest day of my life so far was when my parents decided to move to America. Even though I was young, it was very difficult for me to make the transition. I knew that something big was coming my way when I stepped in this country. Starting from elementary to middle school and now high school I have learned how to live through the hardest situation and make myself better. There have been many situations where I felt very degraded and low but these situations only made me stronger.…

My first day of middle school was hell, I have always been good at school. My grades have never been bad and neither have my actions and or attendance. Probably from having a mom that is also a teacher. I look at that as a good thing though, watching kids just goof off and not come to school then high school rolled around and it was like I got to look down on them because they did not prepare for bigger and better things. School wasn't bad for me because it was hard, it was bad because i was always shy in school.…

I will never stop missing my little village. I don’t consider myself better that other people, instead I am always trying to help people, especially the ones I care the most about; my family. Emotionally, I am not very open with my feelings, especially with people I don’t know a lot. I consider myself as a very shy person who is very quiet most of the time, even if I have something to say, I think sometimes is better to keep your opinion to yourself. My biggest fear is to talk in public, I don’t know how I have survive all those class presentations I have done.…

In Chapter One of Marriage and Family: The Quest for Intimacy, we are introduced to various concepts, facts, and misconceptions concerning the experiences one may have when raising a family or living their life with another human being. Personally, there was plenty of information to learn and discover in this chapter, but if I had to narrow it down to three things that I found most interesting, I believe I would say that I was most fascinated when I had read about loneliness, and the myth concerning having children for an increase in marital satisfaction. As a child, I was very shy in school and I did my best to stay out of everyone’s way. Granted, Praise the Lord that I had a wonderful family and church to lean on, because if I hadn’t,…

Throughout my childhood, adults frequently questioned me on whether or not I fit the stereotype of the only child. I have been asked if I was spoiled and bossy more times than I can count. In a way, I feel that I did fit this stereotype as a child, but I also feel at one time or another every child believes the world revolves around them. My family has described my younger self as being very defiant and strong-willed. I regularly did not listen to any of the tasks authority figures asked me to do, and instead I would stare at them and continue to do whatever I wanted.…

Gardening was a ‘forced’ hobby for a good portion of my childhood. Since elementary school, I worked with my dad in our back yard; I would dig holes, carry bags of manure, and plant flowers and trees. I complained that it would be easier to go to the store and buy a bag of blackberries instead of toiling in the sun for hours to achieve the same thing. I never imagined that I’d end up gardening for fun. Every year, my brother and I would collect the fruits of our labor; every year, I’d appreciate my efforts more and more.…
