I have matured a lot since 2012. One thing I have noticed is that I am more open minded. For instance, even with food, I used to be a picky eater. However, while I was in Australia, I tried Kangaroo. I am also more open to trying new styles of fashion, listening to different genres of music, and literature. Although I experienced many positive changes, I picked up a few negative changes along the way. I got threw most of my days with cigarettes, energy drinks, and coffee. Luckily, I was able to quit smoking cigarettes, and drinking energy drinks. The Military is known for discipline and I certainly became more disciplined. I am almost never late to any appointment or scheduled event. I am also very disciplined when it comes to training and dieting myself.
We are all faced with challenges when leaving our comfort zones. Some people get too complacent in their life and never get to experience all that life has to offer. Some may like the new lifestyle change and some may return to where they feel the most at home. That could be a good thing for some, but it could also be very bad as well. Rather it be trying a new restaurant, getting a new job, or even moving somewhere new, change is good. As a result of me getting out of my comfort zone I am a better person spiritually, mentally, and
