Did you know that “long-haired stars” was what people from many years ago called comets? Comets have been studied for many centuries. How do we know? Records have been kept by Chinese astronomers over the past hundred plus decades. They recorded down many different aspects and observations of comets. Comets, also known as dirty snowballs, are mostly made of ice and are covered with other organic materials. Comets are believed to have brought water and other resources to the Solar System such as Earth! These compounds are what started the birth of life.
