Today, I went to an event that was showing the movie, Comedy Warriors: Healing through Humor. This movie was a documentary about five veterans that were severely wounded when in active duty over in Iraq/Afghanistan. This movie was made for these five veterans because they were given the chance to explore an opportunity were they could heal through the power of humor. This movie wasn’t just about being funny. It went into detail about what had happened to each solider. These veterans had faced so many different difficulties and emotions after these tragedies happened to them. Don’t get me wrong, each veteran had something different happen to them and some of the injuries were more serve than others. One man in the move was severely burned
