Improvisors think outside the box in order to engage not only the audience, but themselves. The conflicts and characters created, based on one word or term, end up with crazy results; the most memorable moments end up becoming inside jokes, or leave behind a reputation for the certain performer. Because of improv, I got into a discussion with my friends and teammates on the meaning of antidisestablishmentarianism. During shows, these scenes are the scenes the audience adores. I've found it so fun to entertain audiences with the games we play. When the audience enjoys it, they give off this energy I can only find when I'm on stage performing. I find it very rewarding when the audience is happy because I know what I think is fun just made someone else's day. Even though it may sound and look easy, improv is challenging.
