On the day of April 20th, 1999 Littleton, Colorado the whole country was shaken to its roots because of the tragedy which had taken place at Columbine High School. Two armed and highly dangerous students named Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold had launched a full on premeditated assault on the school and its occupants. They reason for their attack was the hatred that grew within them for the school and its occupants due to its social cruelty, injustice and unfairness. They had premeditated this attack for 15 months prior to the actually date of its occurrence. Many signs if caught earlier could have stopped this whole event from occurring. Even if law enforcement couldn 't prevent the attack from occurring if they had responded better, they could have captured or stopped Eric and Dylan before extreme casualties and loss were suffered. Due to their response for the situation they suffer relentless criticism which is well placed.
A Majority of the students were killed and injured in the Columbine school library. This is where Dylan and Eric spent quite a while cold bloodily killing their fellow students. The school library had an outside entrance with its door proper wide open with multiple police cars and office parked around and near it. The “Rescue” S.W.A.T team didn 't confirm or were aware of the shooters death until 3:28pm which is around four hours after the shooting had begun. Also instead of entering the building from the side where the shooters were suspected to be, they chose to enter from the opposite side which took them a total of 3 hours to clear and arrive to the library where the shooters went on their killing
