Eric was the mastermind of Columbine shooting. Eric thought he was immortal, he wanted the whole world in his palms. Getting away from trouble wasn’t hard for him, his words were the key for him to get out of it."I will force myself to believe that everyone is just another monster from Doom” Eric felt like everyone is a monster to him besides his close friends. “It was a failed bombing. Eric and Dylan had planted bombs throughout the school.” Dylan was into the idea of bombing the school and gave Eric more ideas to accomplish their plan. “Eric apparently hoped to watch the library and its inhabitants crash down upon the flaming Lunchers.” Eric ideas of bombing the school got crazier and crazier by the day. Eric wasn’t depressed like Dylan, he wanted to be immortal and have people acknowledge him and his doings. Dylan just went along with the idea of bombing and hurting his classmates. Dylan wanted to kill himself for years before the shooting, “Dylan was planning to kill himself long before” the shooting massacre. “Loneliness was the crux of the problem, but it ran deeper than just finding a friend. Dylan felt cut off from humanity.” Nobody understands what Dylan was going through only Eric did, that’s why they were so close to each other. Eric wanted to see people in pain and sorrow. Eric created his a website where he put his anger into, he talks about what he dislikes the most and people he hated the most. Eric didn’t care for nobody only himself and his friend Dylan. There were multiple reports about Eric but the school didn't look into the matter further. Most of the reports came from the sheriff department sent to the administrators. Not just the police even Dylan and Eric instructor. Quick story short, Dylan wrote a paper that talks about disturbing stuff like killing and horrible mess up stuff , Kelly (instructor) was really disturbed by his paper. “Kelly brought it to Dylan's school counselor, Brad Butts. He talked to Dylan, who downplayed it Again.” The counselor didn’t care about it, he thought Dylan was joking around and wrote the paper so he can get it over with. The school wasn’t paying enough attention to their pupil, the faculty was doing “there job” getting them educated. “Columbine's administrators admit that didn't include speaking to his teachers, family, or friends about him.” I wonder why he didn’t tell them? Oh wait because the administrators were to lazy to speak up about the situation. A administrator job is to give important information to the faculties in the school, letting them know what is going on. Eric and Dylan gave huge clues about their plans and doing before the attack. Couple of teachers looked into the matter, but didn’t take their clues serious enough. The counselor “downplayed” Dylan’s paper, that paper should’ve gave the counselor at least one clue what Dylan was going through.

If a student’s intent on hurting people they would know who would have a gun and how to get it. Also school officials are not the police, they have not been trained for these types of situations and can do more harm than good. The police can respond calmly than someone who is not used to being in these situations. Teachers should not be leaping in and start shooting away trying to fight the attacker, they should be trying to get the students away safely. More guns being fired is not the solution in a mass shooting and would likely bring more casualties and be harmful than intended originally.…
