Columbine High School Shooting Essay

I recently had an epiphany it happened within the last few years. I never realized how cruel the world is until I got into highschool. Everyone knows about the Columbine High School School Massacre in 1999. It was where 2 seniors of Columbine High School killed 12 students, one teacher, and also injured 21 other students. The boys planned the school shooting and ever since then people have tried to recreate the Columbine school shooting at other schools. As of today September 27, 2017 there have been 242 school shootings since 2013. That is about 60 school shootings a year in the last four years the highest it has ever been. The people that go and do these schooling shootings are people that are not happy with their lives. These people that have too much or can not handle their lives decide “I’m going to go kill people that are doing something with their lives.” It takes a sick individual to think something like that. It takes an even sicker individual to go out and kill multiple in cold blood. …show more content…
ISIS is a terrorist organization. They have killed thousands of people and took over several places in the Middle East. As of today there are thousands of miles of captured by ISIS in and around Iraq. ISIS has basically came over into America and other places like Europe to start a war with the “disbelievers”. They started a war with us because America is swarming with people that do not believe in the same values and morals as the people in ISIS. They believe they are going to control the world through putting fear in people around the world. This is a well funded well organized terrorist group so it would take some time to get rid of them all. They also have a big influence on the places they take over they almost brainwash the people. When they take over a place they kill the disbelievers and take the women as sex slaves. The fighters care about no one but

The organization is a part of many troubles in the the Middle East: conflict between Sunni and Shi'ite Muslims, refugees stranded by the Syrian civil war, no leaders in Yemen and Libya, Sinai breaking away from Egyptian control, etc. The caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and his troops were able to enter to enter Iraq because no one was willing to stop them. The Sunnis support them because they helped to defend the Sunni communities, and the new ISIS administration hopes to win them over with promises of oil riches and authorization of local units of the national guard. This gives teachers as well as parents and other students an opportunity to notice signs, making many school shootings preventable.…

The Islamic State has one goal, to create a New World Order, the caliphate. They want a world system which operates through only the Islamic form of norms and ideals. The same idea is evident in the World State; everyone thinks the same and no one questions it. Likewise, both can only separate people into two groups. In ISIS’ case, it is the believers and the non-believers, seeing the believers as superior and the non-believers as their enemy, anyone in between should either be the killed or forced to pick a side.…

They have inspired and personally carried out inhumane acts around the world way too many times. Even though they are frequently talked about on the news and among the public, do we really know what they want? Isis inspired the attacks in my hometown of San Bernardino last December proving that they are a cancer which will only keep on spreading if they are not stopped.…

Students and teachers were fatally harmed for no reason at all by troubled teens who struggled in their everyday lives. If they had been given proper help, would that have made a difference? Again, on December 14, 2012 another shooter named Adam Lanza took innocent lives. The ones killed were twenty children and six adults who courageously put their lives before the innocent children at the Sandy Hook elementary school (Atkin).…
