Today, no one can prove conclusively that angels do not exist, since there is no way for humans to know all of the possible creatures that could exist. Despite this, many people acknowledge, apart from what the Bible says, that there seems to be an order of creatures above human beings. Of course, if one admits the biblical evidence, there is no problem in proving the existence of angels; the evidence is simply overwhelming (Ryrie 89)

Angels not only predicted the birth of Jesus, as Gabriel did to Mary, they also announced his birth to the shepherds (Luke 1:26—33 NIV) (2:13).
