State water project: The project begins at Oroville Dam on the Feather River and ends at Lake Perris near Riverside
The Colorado River: The 1,440-mile-long Colorado River passes through parts of seven states, several Indian reservations and the Republic of Mexico, California is entitled to 4.4 million acre-feet of water annually from river.
The Groundwater: About 30 percent of California’s total annual water supply comes from groundwater in normal years, and up to 60 percent in drought years.
The local steams and reservoirs: Approximately 6 million Californians are served by these investor-owned utilities, which are regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission.

Even though my number is lower the average, but I think I should reduce my water consumption. The first think I should do is cover my house’s swimming pool, because hundreds of gallons of water per month can be lost due to evaporation, moreover, I should eat more vegetable, because it can reduce my water used. The last think I should do is recycling my old staff, this action can make me save a lot of water

7. I found out the drought years is getting increase after the Industrial revolution, even though the Industrial revolution was started in Britain, but it affect about all over the world. California is no exception. From the graph, we can see the major large drought year is after 1960s. For the next decade, if we continue to ignore the water protection, we might facing a huge problem about lack of water.
