When I first signed up for color guard, I was just following the lead of my older sister who was also doing it. Thinking this was going to be an easy experience I soon realized that it was nothing how I thought it was going to be. By experiencing the practices and how much time and effort goes into it gained a new respect for my sister for sticking with this because honestly, she was known for being lazy. After getting to feel this amazing feeling after my first performance, color guard also became a passion of mine.
