“Stories for nighttime and some for the day” is a collection of fantasy short stories written by Ben Loory. This book contains 40 short stories and of them all, my personal favorites are “The Book”, “UFO: A Love Story”, and “The Snake in the Throat”. “The Book” is a story about a woman who goes insane about a book she had bought that she claimed had no writing in it. After not being able to return the book, she went on an absolute rampage as she sees other people reading it, and it becoming a best seller. Davis’ compositions changed the evolution of Jazz with masterpieces, such as, Kind of Blue in 1959, Sketches of Spain in 1960, and the Bitches Brew in 1969. Kind of Blue won the bestselling album of the year, and is one of the most sought-after recordings as late as 1998.
