Racial formation on the other hand refers to the coming together of a set of people who are believed to come from a similar origin and are identified by the nature of their origin. The formation of the races come later to be able to identify in terms of social, economic and political forces.
The formation of races has had various impacts to the formation of the English colony in Virginia in the 1970s.
