Comments: Reading the first assigned reading sections of, "The Bedford Guide for College Writers", has already given me ideas of how to improve different writing strategies and techniques that can be difficult in writing college papers. Chapter one helps explain the process of writing of generating ideas, processing ideas, and the steps to constructing a good paper (6-15). For me, this is one of my struggles I have with writing. I tend to write in one sitting, rather than taking time between the steps of; planning, drafting, developing, revising, editing and proofreading.
