College Tuition Costs Should Be Lowered “It is believed that the prices of college tuition are climbing faster than the U.S. inflation rate”, according to Average Rate Growths. A student degree makes a big difference in a person’s salary. However, having a degree is a key to making much more in any type of field. With the demand of a college degree rising, tuition costs are also being raised. This is making it more difficult for people to be able to afford a college degree. It seems even some people are not sure if it is even worth the cost anymore. I feel that college degrees are going to start becoming more of a requirement. The cost of tuition should be reduced to be more suitable for everyone to afford. “There are three things that cause a rise in tuition,” says Washington Post Reference. One reason is that college is spending more on costs towards their campus. This then creates a decrease in the institution’s budget, causing it to be replaced by increasing the tuition for students. Another reason for the increase in college tuition is institutions need more money to cover the costs of government cuts or funding changes. The easiest way for an institution to get that money is by increasing the tuition for students to cover the budget
