Is it a big challenge for an immigrant adult to acquire a college degree in the United States? getting a degree in general is hard, but it is harder for an immigrant adult. Many reasons can explain that, the language, the obligation most of the time to work two jobs for taking care of the family. Despite of the situations above, this is something that can be accomplished. In fact, it truly depends on the person. Some think they can only have the motivation to obtain a college degree by registering for some classes without any plan to direct them how they are going to achieve their objective. Others, see that differently by setting clear goals with a plan to follow. Obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Accounting is very important for me to go forward in the USA. During my program, I intend to process by managing my time, participating regularly in class, and using as much as possible the available resources of the college to help me to make my dream come true.

Preparing the homework will take so much time; a day to day work is necessary. Professors require their homework to be ready on time. Thus, everything should be done in the same week; otherwise, it will be impossible to get ready before the next class. Furthermore, some of the homework will force me to go to the library to do some research or meet some classmates for a team project. I understand that I must arrange my priorities by getting an appointment calendar to help me be organized.
