Introduction Are college students ready for sex? The responsibilities? Do the higher education institutions expect college students to know if theirs sexual behavior is appropriate and not appropriate? The qualitative research about college student’s sexual behavior in the 21st century. The researcher explains the changes in college student’s sexual behavior base off society norm. The gender roles have change from traditional male and female, which society dictated. In fact, women continue to make strive in society, especially in the workforce. Men and women view sexual encounters and responsivities different including the outcomes of such encounters. In particulars of “hookup” culture, sexual responsibility, risky behavior, sexual assault and rape.
Purpose
The purpose of this qualitative, descriptive research study was to analyze college student’s sexual behavior on college campuses. Their perception and attitude about themselves, opposite sex, responsibility, and being educated through the prevention programs. Furthermore, the data obtained through questionnaires, survey, and interviews on college campuses.
