More than 50% of college sexual assaults occur in either August, September, October, or November. Students are at an increased risk during the first few months of their first and second semesters in college. The highest state with rape cases are New Jersey, Alaska, and South Dakota. There are many Universities that have a high rape culture but the highest rape culture is Brown University with 43 reports of rape. There are currently 9181 students attending Brown University. Brown University is known to be a party school. Two females attending Brown University has accused a male student of spiking their drink at a Phi Kappa Psi party in October.
