FYEX class really help me keep up with what I need to do to be ready for the school. The problem was, I been taking classes for the wrong major this entire time instead of the major I want to become. I want to become a teacher who teach history at High School which that will be major in Education and minor in History. The classes I am talking now is for the major in History and minor in Education. It was the opposite of each other. I thought everything would be fine because I will still get to teach, but when I look at the classes I needed to take, It was totally different. I’m talking History 101 at the moment, and that would not count toward anything when I change my Major. I want to major in education so I will be changing my major and for my minor class, I need to take History class that are 300 to 400 level

My current focus has been on achieving my BSN and the program I had heard about was fairly new but provided an opportunity for me to get my BSN while doing it in only 2 short years.…

From that moment I knew I wanted to attend this college in order to better myself on a scholarly and spiritual level. My love for this school was due to the efforts of the university ambassador who gave me and my group the tour. I do not remember her name but she talked so passionately and enthusiastically about the school that I couldn’t help but to share in her emotions. She also discussed her experiences while attending CBU, which in turn made me excited about attending her and making my own story.…

Community Colleges offering 4-year degrees Introduction In this paper, I will be discussing the current trend of 2-year community colleges offering bachelor degrees. I originally applied to UCF as a film major, but realized that was a bad idea over the summer and changed to undeclared. I remained that way until mid-September, but after meeting with my academic advisor, I was able to decide on Business Management as the major I want to pursue, at least temporarily. With that in mind, I was able to start planning my classes for next semester and beyond, and will be starting courses in Macroeconomics and Computer Fundamentals for Business. Even if I change my major later, I’m probably going to stick with business of some sort – perhaps marketing, or finance of some sort – so those courses will still be helpful. I’m very glad that I was able to find something to work towards for the next few years.…

History majors have become somewhat of a joke these days in regards to economic and job security. However, being a history major has plenty of upsides and many people do not see the bigger picture when deciding what major they want to be. As I entered my freshman year of college, I came in as a chemistry major with a secondary education track to teach chemistry in high schools. I thought that’s what I should do even though history was always my first love. My mom, however, told me that I’d never find a job after college just being a history major.…
