College Job Benefits

With the job market being as competitive as it is now days, a degree of some sort is almost required to get a job. That obligates most high school students to enroll into college. The problem is, most students aren't very sure on what they want to do for the rest of their lives. Then, when they finally think of something they are interested in, they have to find a way to pay for all of the schooling required to do that certain job. Once they are in college, the students are faced with passing all kinds of classes and tests, that don't really apply to their exact job. College ends up being way too much pressure on these students and a lot of them end up changing their mind. “More than 75% of students required to take remedial classes never graduate” (College Dropout Statistics, 2014). At the age of 18 or 19, students must decide on their career that they would like to go and do every single day. That is a large feat to handle, especially at such a young age. If a their parents don't help them, or cant help them, they have to pay for it on their own. This can become a very difficult task to accomplish. The average price per year for a public four year university is over $22,000 (College Cost, 2015). The average amount of money made by college students is roughly $14,000; which is much less than a single year of single cost, besides all of the expenses they are on their own such as car, food, and fuel. So not only do students have to work their asses off to pay for school, they have to do all of their work they have from their classes. Every student that goes to a large university without their parents help will have to take out some student loans; that just piles onto the stress.
