My Life After College Essay

College is an important step to all high school students, it provides an opportunity to learn, a unique experience and to have a bright future. Before I started college I was focus in graduating and getting my diploma, but the main question was “what do I do after I graduate? ”. I had in mind something in the medical field; my family is divide in two sided of work field, mostly in medicine or business. It was a pressure at first knowing that after I graduate I must continue my education toward my future career. I found this to be helpful in the end, so with the help of my family and friends that made it easy to decide college was a right step forward and the best decision I ever made.

First, I had four incredible years in high school, yet I went to two different schools before I finally obtain my diploma. I was into art, photography and some French. At times, I didn’t worry about my life after high school or what I would do in the future as a career. I took small steps; I consulted with my uncle who was a dentist. Two years working fulltime, as keeping up with two different jobs, I realized that I needed to start college soon. One morning, in the middle of the year: while I was working as a waiter, a customer who was a student from Miami-Dade College came to eat. I was amazed with her white lab coat, her big books on the table as she read the two books. I asked her, with manners; “ I’m sorry for asking, but what exactly are you studying”, so she answered; “ Dental Assistant ”. We talked for a while as she explains to me about her experience in college and how happy she is to be following her dream. At the end of the day, as I put the chairs and tables away in the restaurant for closing time, it came to me that I needed to act and so I decided I would go to college at the end of the
