As a college student there are many goals I need to achieve in order to succeed both in and out of this class. This course is important because it will help me achieve a higher education, push me towards success in the future, and help me be a more organized and inquiring person. Taking college classes is very important to me because getting a good education allows you to be self-dependent and successful. By taking these classes it will help me get more job opportunities which will then help me support myself and my family.

I chose to take this English Composition 1 course as a high school student because you can receive college credit for classes while you are still in high school. By enrolling in this course as a concurrent student I am only required to pay a fraction of the original price this is a major benefit to taking this class. I decided to come to college to push myself to take more strenuous courses and be as successful as possible. Another benefit of coming to college is receiving a higher level of education.

One major goal is keeping good grades. This can be achieved by staying on top of assignments and always setting aside enough time to study and complete homework. Another important thing to accomplish is always asking question when I don’t understand something. This goal can be reached by communicating with the professor and other students in the class. As a college student setting and achieving goals is very important. My goals in this college course are to achieve a higher level of education, work to be successful, and being more inquiring. This course is very important because it will put me on the path to receive a college degree. If I were to drop this course it would affect my career choice in the future and I would be disappointed that I didn’t work harder to be successful. Staying in this class is essential to getting a good job and leading a happy and enjoyable
