In movies, college campuses would be nice and large with quiet rooms to study, theater like rooms and learning centers. Turns out only the nicer schools in the country have them, even state universities don’t many of the theater like rooms. If anything is similar is the quiet study rooms and help centers, everything else is nothing like the movies. In my first day of college I found out that community college I was attending wasn’t by no means large and that the environment was like high school except with young kids running around which wasn’t much of a surprise for me. I expected to have more freedom, less money shortages, and less class things to worry about. When I was about to leave high school, I believed I would be able to obtain a job in the summer and live away from my parents so I could enjoy free time. As a result, I wasn’t able to get a job over the summer due to my tight college schedule and also couldn’t move out since I ended up going to my local community college which my parents happily to allowed me stay home. My expectations would’ve been partially met if it wasn’t for some circumstances, maybe some would call it as bad luck however I don’t consider my lifestyle to be bad. I still make up time to go out and also have partial freedom in that I can travel where I want whenever I want though it may have a
