Diversity is something many schools barely show. Diversity can vary from groups of people, race, age, color, ethnicity, gender, disabilities, religion, gender identification, and many more. Diversity and inclusion are important to the campus and culture at The University of Toledo because it would make a lot of people feel safe. If the University of Toledo was not diverse as it should be most people probably would not go here because they would not feel accepted by society and also the school. The fact that the University of Toledo shows so much diversity is a good thing. This school makes me feel socially accepted. The University of Toledo accepts people no matter the age, gender, race, color, etc. Every time I walk around on campus I see groups of people not the same race or gender walking around getting along. They don’t fight one another depending on race. Everyone at UT pretty much gets along. For example when I was sitting in student union alone, there were two people of different race looking for somewhere to sit. I saw three different people from three different tables offer them a spot to sit at and I just feel like that is a good thing to see. To see people accept others so easily and be diverse is such a good sight to see. Another example is I saw someone dropped their things and all of their papers and stuff went flying all over outside. A group of people rushed over there to help them pick up their things. My own personally experience came from the first day of school, and I was the lost freshman who couldn’t find where anything was. People noticed I was confused and lost. But, people came up to me and asked if I needed help finding buildings and class rooms. I appreciated that so much because if they wouldn’t have helped me, I would have probably been late to every class I have because I was so clueless. Another experience is when I fell down
