“Why college education is important to me” College education is very important for me because of the fact that I need a degree to follow my dreams. Also will allow me to see what I am capable of and fulfill an empty space of education. Over the past couple years, I always thought to myself just go after it and do it. In life I want to be happy and to achieve this, I have to get my college education. Having a college degree will allow me to start a new chapter in my life. To, show myself that I can achieve anything, when I put my heart and soul into something.
In my life right now I do have a very good paying job, but I am not happy. I have been there 15 years and perform at a high level. But to see myself doing that for the rest of my life is something I don’t want to do. My dream is to become a police officer and to help the community. The past couple of years I have been thinking to myself, what are the steps needed to achieve this dream of mine. But to look at what is next in my journey in following my dreams. Bernie Cronin used a great Walt Disney quote in his best seller; If You Can’t Act, You Can’t Sell. “If you can dream it, you can do it.” This is very motivational and puts so many things into perspective. No matter what life throws at you, you need to follow your dreams because you are in control of your own destiny and no one else is. No one is going to tell you to finish your homework today or make sure you go to the gym today. It is all about you wanting something in life so bad, that you want it more than breathing. The one thing about dreaming is that it sets a path for your life. I’m 31 years old now and that is not stopping me from following my dreams in life and success in my life. Being 31 years old, is just motivating me even more to make all my dreams come
