A four year college degree after high school is necessary to prepare humans for the future because it brings experiences from the many trials and tribulations we are confronted with. In the long run, we are learning new things about ourselves and the real world that can help us discover what we are looking for in life. Conversely, attending college may also be seen as a waste of time and money because there are job opportunities after high school with high wage benefits, similar to a degree, that can serve one well for the rest of one’s life. Taking general education courses that do not pertain to an exact field in our major could help us go beyond our boundary lines and increase endurance skills that are related to our lives more than we expect
