College Cost Definition

Thirty-three percent of three million students dropped out of college in the year 2000. Because of the long list of criteria that students do not look at before entering college, they do not understand what they are about to do with their life. The criteria of a college is important because it will help students understand if that is the college they are able to get into. Most students are unaware of how college can affect their life. The University of Northwest Ohio is a great quality college because of cost, the types of majors offered, the location, and the many financial aid opportunities that are offered. Many factors can be the reason why a student does not attend a college. One factor that determines whether a college is good to attend to is cost. Cost is a very important factor to consider when looking at a college because it will determine if you are able to handle the expenses of the college. Not only is tuition a part of the cost, but the housing expenses and food play a role when talking about cost. One opportunity is a fall test in regards to what degree students are wanting to major in. First place receives a full tuition scholarship. The next four places receive money scholarships. Second place receives $5,000 for a scholarship. The next four places negate $1,000 the following scholarship. Third place would receive $4,000. Students are allowed to fill out the FAFSA, which is financial aid from the government. After you complete the FAFSA, an estimate for how much a student can receive will be given, which is the Pell Grant. Sending your high school transcript will give students the opportunity to be evaluated in order to check what kind of federal aid students are able to receive.
